New Woodlands School Raises £131 for Great Britain Deaf Women's Football Team!

Deaf Sports First extends their gratitude to New Woodlands School in Bromley, who raised £131 from a bake sale to support the England International Deaf Women Football Team

Deaf Sports First would like to say many thanks to New Woodlands School in Bromley, for raising £131.00 from their bake sale and it will go to Great Britain Deaf Women football.

Our motivation to raise money was the deaf students’ love of football and their own journey to find a football team that understand their needs. They would like to money go towards the England International Deaf Women’s Football Team.

As their teacher of the deaf I wanted them to take part in the wider school community and that they can have a positive impact. They both overcame their nerves to serve the students and staff. The both the school and I are very proud of how they excelled themselves and contributed to the event running smoothly.
